Islamabad: Pakistan has strongly condemned the Israeli airstrikes on Gaza, calling them a grave violation of the ceasefire agreement, especially during the holy month of Ramadan.
Foreign Office Spokesperson Shafqat Ali Khan issued a statement denouncing the attacks and urged the international community to take immediate action for peace in Gaza and the Middle East.
He stated that the Israeli aggression has resulted in the martyrdom of over 400 innocent Palestinians, including a large number of women and children. He added that the attacks carried out by Zionist forces during Ramadan are a clear breach of the ceasefire agreement.
The latest Israeli assault has turned Palestinian lands into a bloodbath during the sacred month. According to reports, Israeli warplanes launched dozens of attacks at dawn using U.S.-made bombs, targeting civilians as they slept in their homes, refugee camps, and school buildings. As a result, 413 Palestinians have been martyred, and dozens more have been injured.
The Gaza Ministry of Health confirmed that hospitals have so far received 413 bodies, while many remain trapped under the rubble, with rescue efforts ongoing.
Since October 7, 2023, Israeli aggression has claimed the lives of 48,543 Palestinians, while the number of wounded has reached 111,981.
Pakistan has urged the global community to intervene immediately and take concrete steps to end Israeli atrocities in Gaza.
